About Me

I started photography back in 1987 at the age of 15 before digital SLR was even born. By 1989 I was the youngster person in the West of Scotland to hold an NUJ press pass. I covered a lot of sports and journalistic photography. This include work as a wedding photographer.

By the late 90's I diverse into other art fields including multimedia and 3D character animation but kept a hand in photography, mainly weddings.

By 2006 I decided go full circle back to my first love of photography. As the age of digital photography matured the need for film slowly faded. It was a very slow process of moving away from my beloved Canon Eos 1 to a digital SLR. But a move that was full of advantages including the lack of a dark room and the smell of sulphur dioxide.
